Auto dimming mirror
 

Checked forums and online but could not get confirmation that PT374 -18220 is the auto dimming mirror that comes with the 2024 trueno. When Selecting MY24 Toyota parts does not confirm it. Anyone had a chance confirming with the dealer ?

Not an answer to your exact question, but I personally installed PT374-18220 into two MT GR86s (one 2022 and one 2023) and they work perfectly.

Wish we had auto-dimming side mirrors... ooh, the glare!

Suma Performance or Rexspeed wide angle tinted side mirrors do the job!

Hmm.... I have a Trueno, and the auto dimming mirror - which is listed as a port installed option on my Maroney sheet. So it would appear that the Trueno does not come with an auto dimming mirror, but rather can be optioned with the same auto dimming mirror as any other GR86. The part number you listed appears to be the same as what is on my car from the picture, and I can definitely confirm that it idoes NOT have the compass feature of the BRZ auto dimming mirror.

He apparently picks them up 2nd hand and mods them to power radar detectors or dash cams.

PS: I bought some anti-glare film for my side-view mirrors. BIG difference!


AntiGlareCustoms on Etsy sells the pre-cut KDX tint kits for around $20. (Do order his little squeegee if you get one, I regret not getting it.)
