Back to Laguna Seca - GR86 w/ 245/40/17 - 1:44.36 Lap
Successful test-weekend at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca.
Testing Falken RT660 vs V730 245/40/17. On the RT's, we are running a 3mm front spacer for inboard clearance. On the V730, we are running a 10mm front spacer for an increase in track width due to the narrower rim protector. Both tires managed to put down commendable times. Old RT660's managed a 1:44.36 while a new V730's managed a 1:44.60. We had a bone-stock GR86 to test as well which managed a 1:56.03 (White GR86). Our Gen-2 (Black GR86) is equipped with KW CS 2-way coilovers, SPL + RacerX arms, DTC-70 pads, and the Volk TE37. They are sized as 17x9.5 +45 5x100.
