Sorry to hear of the poor service and response from your dealership techs. Seems to be the case for the majority of the dealers here as well.

Yes, I replaced the same coil myself and it wasn't too difficult, just need hand tools and patience. I have more details in this thread a few posts back. You should be able to replace it yourself just fine, just remember to stuff some rags below to catch any dropped bolts.
