Thorpedo: Try to stop the brake pedal switch working for the pedal travel you use during an autocrossing event (NOT for road use!). No signal from pedal -> no switching off power. I'd try to disadjust the switch in a way that it works very late (but still works). This way other systems and race control might not complain, even the brake lights work (ok, a bit late
