Either one would require some serious re-engineering because you would be cutting through either all 3, or at least two of the roof carrying supports. I prefer a targa because it could eliminate most of the flex when the top is on if built correctly, and it is easier to prevent leaks in my experience.

You could build the Targa to put all three supports back in in fact, although it would be a bitch to remove. I suppose, in theory could do that with the T-tops as well. My hierarchy:

Targa>T-Top>Hardtop>"Transformer Hardtop->Convertible>Sunroof
