Head underneath the car to formulate a game plan to fix the brake lines and weatherproof the floor pan and I find some unexpected damage.



Compared to what it should look like



After consulting two body shops who both said they didn't want to touch that because of it's location and difficulty due to overlapping panels I decided to take it on myself. Ordered new sheet metal from Subaru and cut out the part I needed, this doesn't look to be as bad as the body shops made it out to be...



Ready to weld in, just gotta get the brake lines and fuel lines down for clearance and safety, plus they need to be replaced anyway.
In the mean time, I got a door from the salvage yard and got it mounted.
