Also, Microsoft's AI analyzed 32 million materials in 80 hours to come up with a battery that would be ideal in price, availability and performance that is a sodium-lithium hybrid with other proprietary, undisclosed materials. Clearly AI has a large roll to play in accelerating science and technology in all types of fields.
