For those who are familiar with Gran Turismo 7, both race-track versions can be found on the game.
But it seems like Mazda has finally come back to its senses and decided to tease road-legal versions of the vehicles during the Tokyo Auto Show. Though certainty if they would make it to NA Markets its quite unclear.
The Mazda 3 Spirit Racing wouldn't be based of the current 2.5 Turbo version. AWD AT. Rather, a new Engine and Turbo Setup. (In the company's words, the engine would offer "a more nimble and powerful driving experience." -The Drive)
I've been waiting for a successor of the MazdaSpeed 3, and this might be the answer. Price wise, probably I would guess it to be in the territory of a GR Corolla-WRX.
