Open Flash Tablet Additions, What would you like to see

I've got an OFT and I use it to tune my car, with tunes I have customized myself. When I made the changes to get a quieter cold start, I thought, "This would be a great addition to OFT OTS tunes, and would probably bring in new customers for the tablet also."
So, I'm starting a thread for shiv@openflashtablet to read, if he wants to, with suggestions for welcome additions to tunes, or features, on the Open Flash Tablet.
My first suggestion, which could bring in new customers, is adding the quieter cold start additions to each stage 2 tune. Here's a link to the first page of the thread.

Template files AUTO UPDATE when the OFT is connected to the Manager software and it does it's usual checking/updating process.

Seriously. After I've renewed software on the OFT and then done my utmost to search out relevant template download, install it, only to have the OFT when in-car either have missing icons, or prompt for latest template file.....

It's the single biggest nuisance tarnishing an otherwise brilliant product.

EDIT: I see that the template files are slightly better notated and version prominently displayed on the OF website as of today. Which is a bit of an improvement admittedly.

It is probably due to OFT actually an AlienTech Powergate 3 programmer
which is customizable by end users ie Openflash

http://www.powergate-alientech.com/en/

Alientech probably do some updates likely the Openflash manager and oft guys probably do some stuff as well (or pay for it to be done) like customized template files/logging/custom features like tuning alerts ect

Luckly the Openflash tunes are actually open and end users can apply those minor adjustments themselves like you have done for free.

Many "tweaks" like the cold start noise reduction are not wanted or required by all users.

Creating a database of "free" tunes with separate revisions for all the minor tweaks would be an enormous task (ie expensive and time consuming) given the number of different roms and "tweaks" users may or may not want

Their is already about 150 roms, just adding the option of cold start noise reduction would jump the number to 300.

If people cannot apply those tweaks themselves I am sure the Openflash guys would incorporate any of those type of minor mods when they do custom E-tunes for people.

I would not like anything changes you have made added to off the shelf tunes.

Please please PLEAAAASE add the quieter cold start for the tunes. The loud cold start is my biggest issue with this car and I don't trust myself to make those changes for the ECU.

^ this, would be nice for the rest of the world
and updated definition files. The included G-rom defs are very old.
(Luckily Kodename47 has made an updated A01G version and I've added the LC/FFS patch with it).

Rom tweaks doesn't matter, everybody can make those tweaks following the supplied info and tutorials.
There is information enough in Steve99's topics.

edit:
And maybe more translations? Made by the users, if OFT uses templates it's an easy job to add more.

I would like to see ability to manage logs from the tablet. At least to delete the ones that are not needed.

As @Wayno pointed out in his thread, "OFT Maps - E85 MPG Fuel Economy, Automatic Transmission, 98RON Stg1, Stg2 and BPB" scaling a MAF with an automatic using an OFT is pointless, since the OFT uses the MT's Engine Load Limiter tables in the A/T's tunes. I would like shiv@openflashtablet to revise the A/T ROM's to include the Engine Load Limiter A and B tables, and change them as @Wayno has done to improve the A/T's drive-ability.

OFT wont be able to do that. but its easy to hide. just pull your cluster out and stuff electrical tape in the hole where the light is. there's threads on this topic
