Nice job, a bit too "busy", especially in small places, for my taste ...... but good job!

Good job of attaching it .....

Sorry, it looks "tacked on" to me ......

Pay me no never mind ..... I'm one that yells at kids to get off my lawn ....

Swapped exterior Scion emblems with glossy black Toyota emblems. Removed the FR-S emblem.

I'm here in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and trying to find a local shop to install TRD lowering springs. The prices here are insane. I called about 10 shops. The cheapest I got quoted was $602 and highest $815. Ridiculous. Either they don't like this car or installing these springs are more difficult than people have said. I keep reading that it shouldn't take over 3 hours and should cost around $300. Nope. I must be dreaming. These shops insist it's a 6-8 hour job. And a lot of shops won't even do it because it's 'custom' work. I tried to explain to them they these TRD's are designed to work with stock everything, but nope. A lot of them still wont do it.
Called the local Toyota dealership and they quoted me $440! Hah...I couldn't believe that installing at the dealership would be cheaper!
Anybody from Fort Wayne, Indiana vicinity have any insight? Should I just have the dealership install them?

You can save that money and do it yourself. For a first timer, it would only take a 4 or 5 hours and that is including a few breaks. Last time was in my garage on jackstands and it took about 3 hours, did it in a parking stall on jackstands before.

Its pretty easy and can be done with basic tools. Really the only specialty tool you would need is a spring compressor and you can rent them from an auto parts store. There is even a technique to do this without the spring compressor.

I added the carbon fiber full Rexpeed kit
Installed myself, with no prior experience with body kits. carefully planned out the install prior and took my time (9 straight hours) due to me being very OCD over my mods. the time was well worth it and looks like I paid someone professional (from what im told) fitment was a bit tricky, installing alone. I would definitely recommend 2 people to anyone looking to do this themselves, as im sure it would same time . sorry, very proud.
feedback on my project is appreciated!
-Tom

Installed my 86Speed hood struts. Instantly destroyed the clips that hold the plastic piece down next to it. Seriously, I thought the Honda ones were fragile. Struts work good, though. I was going to get the Grimmspeed ones, but these were on sale.
