Sure, and asking a cop for advice on a public forum is going to help how? The tip will be "Slow down."

The fact that the speed limit is 10-15 lower than where I grew up combined with everyone going the same speed I was doesn't help also if I saw the speed limit sign o would have slowed down I drive the speed limit in town whenever I see a sign

Much better. I'm just saying don't put the poor guy on the spot. If you went back and took some photos could you say it was placed strategically where it is possible to enter that roadway from a higher speed without seeing a posted limit? I turn onto a city-ish street every day where I don't see the first speed limit posting for maybe 15 blocks through 3 lights.

Yeah first post was uncalled for let the frustration of getting the pic of my car taken get the best of me...I full accept any consequences cause I was at fault more so just hoping it's not too expensive cause I wanted to buy some more goodies for my car

No, but I once sold a car to someone who blew through a photo trap there the next month and I got the ticket. I sent a copy of the signed BOS and that took care of it on my end.

Otherwise, in your situation I think you're automatically granted one continuance of the court date and a second on request with a reasonable excuse. The point being to extend the trial date beyond your next insurance renewal to delay the pain of the policy premium certain to increase. Good luck, it happens.

Actually, it was just ambiguous, not hostile at all. Guess I was just feeling the awkward.

BTW, I have some feelings about the "Right to confront your accuser" issue. If it's for public safety how is a camera going to stop a drunken speeder from continuing on and killing someone down the road?

It really is all about the $$$ and that is very sad.
