I've been getting coffee from a dude who's on NASIOC. He roasts then ships. So you usually get at most a day or two old roast.

Oh yeah, Nate makes amazing coffee. I got my current batch from a local roaster, but I will definitely be trying his soon.

You can make your own coffee? You mean at home? Is that a US thing? Damn you learn something new all the time on here.

We don't have to; we have Starbucks. And WaWa on the mid-Atlantic coast. Some of us choose to though.

I usually like the office coffee with a lot of flavored creamer, but I can drink this stuff straight. There's no bitterness or burned taste and you can actually pick up subtle flavors in the coffee. It's pretty damn good. Pay no attention to the picture quality; it's an old iPhone.

And yes, I know what I sound like.

Beautiful!

I dabble a bit my self when it comes to coffee consumption:

Have a Gaggia espresso maker and been working on my art during the day lol

Nice! I used to have a Moka pot, but I just can't convince myself to spend the money on a proper espresso machine and grinder that can do a decent espresso grind.

As a note, if you mix six shots of espresso from a Moka pot 1:1 with chocolate milk and then drink the whole thing, about seven hours later when you crash you start feeling really nauseated and shaky. Or maybe I just can't hold my caffeine.

That's outstanding! The power of suggestion is a very powerful force.

I will say that some coffee beans do cost more because they are more rare or for whatever other reason. Sometimes a lot more (civet coffee). I'm sure Starbucks is making quite a healthy profit off of people who don't know any better and just want to feel classy. Remember: pinkies out!

I have a feeling I'd be on the toilet for 7 hours if I drank that.

I was amazingly productive until I crashed. Then I just sat there and tried to focus on the computer screen.

Having been to italy several times if I have learned anything its 2 things, they eat cheese like an apple and drink coffee like water.

Its what made me by my machine after coming back from italy. I usually do 4 espresso shots a day and its pretty standard. 6 wont really doo too much too me but keep me up lol.
