I'll have to find a way to tighten it up. I'm also going to add a backup camera but that won't help any when the car is moving. Does anyone else have a problem with blind spots?
I have a 2014 BRZ with all the factory mirrors and have no blind spots because I set up my mirror angles correctly. The setup is that as soon as a car cannot be seen in my rear view mirror, it starts appearing in my side view mirror, which is also where the blind spot would be if not setup correctly.

The down side is that it's difficult to parallel park and reverse with the mirrors setup that way, because you can't see the lane/curb through the mirrors without moving them again.

This is all very helpful. I've used that wide outside position for a long time, but the FRS presents some fairly unique problems for me with my fused neck, especially cars passing from right to left behind. I keep the passenger seat positioned so I can see through the small quarter window.
I'm very glad to learn about Rexspeed. I'll order a set today. We Miata owners use a similar system made by Modiction, but I wound up using just the one on the passenger side, and the regular mirror on the driver side. I don't much care for the blue, but I'll try to get used to it. There once was a company called Multivex which made a very different and very effective mirror, but I think they've been out of business for a long time. The first 2/3 them were were flat, but the outer third curved forward, displaying a very wide angle behind without distortion. I had them on one of my motorcycles and they were terrific, but I was never able to get another set.

After 40 plus years of driving, I never really learned to set the side mirrors properly until I started driving this car. Takes a while to get them set juuuuussssttt right, but once you do you wont let anyone else drive the car.

Now, backing up at night down a dark narrow laneway is still an issue. If ever there was a car that needed a rear camera, this is it.

A rear camera and back up lights that have a few more lumens than Dollar Store solar garden lights.

Agreed; upgrading the reverse lights to brighter LEDs was one of my favorite things I've done to the car.

The rexspeed i do believe come in clear if you would prefer that.

Another option are these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/POLARIZED-B...-/192209873847 They have a split section on the edge.

I had trouble with blind spots when I first got the car. I fixed it with a header, stage 2 tune, CAI, and FI. You can't run into anything if you're way far out in front of it!!!1

OK. I got all the info from from Diode Dynamics. I see that all applies to the upper lights. Are the lower lights in the picture still the stock ones?

I don't think so but the lower reverse lights are the ones I upgraded. The lights in the tails will need a special wiring kit (turn as tail) and will need clear bulbs.

Yes, Diode Dynamics has a video showing how to convert all the upper. Total for that kit is $230. I'll look for a replacement for the lower lights first.

Convex side mirrors set correctly and a Broadway 270mm rear view mirrior snap on fixed everything for me!

Such a hazard. I know enough people who rely on the little blind spot indicator and beeping for changing lanes... It's maddening to think that these same people at some point drove without these technologies. I feel the same about people who exclusively use reverse camera's to reverse, I've actually watched someone back into a car while actively looking at the reverse cam............. ????
