I was just messing with you. Ichi and Hachi are the ones that make this site what it is.

No worries. It seems like there is information overload at this point, hard to keep up with everything going on with Toyota/Scion/Subaru. This is the first car I have followed from concept to production, so it sure is nice to have each other to fill in the gaps of into.

Looks like we will find out about the Subaru version at Tokyo as well according to motorauthority. Full version to debut at Tokyo along side Toyota? If it is a joint program makes some sense to debut at the same time. Then supposedly Subaru will begin production in the spring with them coming shortly after to the USA. So early summer still seems like their time frame.

You guys realize Hachi changed the forum sub heading from Subaru 216a to 2000rs. Must have just happened recently. Just saying.

Rumors that this will be called "2000 RS" any truth to that?

well that was a consideration at one time and only a few people knew that... but no, that isn't the name.

saw that too.

wonder what they could name it then? i guess people gotta keep trolling trademark office databases...

edit: ive been poking around a bit
2000 RS is a FHI registered trademark in the UK, EU, australia, and NZ
nothing in the US yet. japan's trademark website was tricky...any japanese speakers able to help?

I put a message on Hachi's visitor page about that very same message.

He changed it back to Subaru 216a forum.

Coincidence, I think not!
