Wheels are here.

Enkei RS05RR matte gunmetal 18x9.5 +43 wrapped in Michellin Pilot Super Sports 245/35/18.

Tires are slightly stretched, but I wanted the same odometer spec as stocks. I think 255s would be perfect, so might spring for that set up next time.

Love how these wheels look on the car.

She's almost where I want her to be before I go forced induction after warranty passes, or when I have enough disposable income to not worry about repairs. :P

a little update:
Got my mudflaps on. The series blue spats/sideskirts do push the flaps up a little, but it's no where near as bad as I thought it'd be, and I actually like it. The paint has been pretty clean in the normal areas where dirt would be kicked up since I installed these.

I also went on a photoshoot since my twin FRS and I decided to wax our cars in the midst of pollen season (we're crazy).

here's a better view of the roof wrap

I'm getting the Ambit RE02s down the road, which are the cheaper equivalent of the RS055R.

The white FRS in one of the posts has RE02s, and they're great for a daily as long as you're ok dealing with haters about reps lol

Wheels are wheels, and if you're not tracking I don't see an issue. I opted for the enkeis because I got a stupid deal on them and I wanted the darker matte gunmetal color (the gunmetal on ambits are a good shade or two lighter)

I completely understand that. I ran XXRs on my Fit for a year before I got this car and, for my purposes, they worked great. I'm not going to lie: I'm going to baby my car for the foreseeable future so buying reps, for me, is no issue.
I'm glad you were able to get something as good as the RS055R.

Definitely. Ambits are a bit new as a company, but they're gaining a lot of publicity from sponsoring Tj Hunt so you shouldn't need to worry about the quality. Plus they're so cheap you could easily replace them

That is my exact reasoning behind getting them. I want to put that extra money towards some PSSs to wrap them in and a brake upgrade.

That'll be good. wheels are a huge expense, so if you got other places to spend money on, definitely do that. RE02s should hold up just fine on NA.

I'm probably done with big mods until I can pay off my student loans and save for a wedding () for the next 2 years.

Just small stuff until then and I'll decide if I want to stay NA or FI... or widebody!
