Short answer. You gain velocity but lose volume.

Ok, this is getting complicated now. Does anybody have the directions to make the intake from a straw or 1/4" hose? All that velocity should replicate a turbo or super charger.

With the lack of volume it would just plain suck (or not suck as the case may be I guess).

Well, now, @86Frost ...... ANOTHER thread by you on the same topic ........

So, it appears you are dead set on a CAI over a drop in.

If so, as I understand it, a good CAI (either one you mentioned) will give you from 8-10 HP gain ...... while a "drop it" will give you 6-8 HP gain.

So, is the additional couple of HP, worth an additional $200-300 .... ??

Either way, you still won't be able to beat that Mustang to the next light.

So, if you want a few hundred dollars worth of under the hood bling, I suggest you just pick the prettiest one .....

PS - don't forget the stickers .........

First off as everyone said, it's deplorable to make another thread because of some info you just learned in the last one

Go with the grimmspeed, I've heard some bad things about the injen

Finally, "custom perrin headerback exhaust" ?

What? It's a bolt on part......

Hmmm. Not sure. What do they look like? Is there any particular color scheme you're shooting for? I'm afraid I'm just not going to be much help here-I got the TRD intake for that "stock" look...

No, they are different shapes. Why would you want to anyway?
