I own 3 cars because I can. They all serve a slightly different purpose and in my mind justified the purchase. I’ve worked hard and cars are an enjoyment for me. I have a 2 car garage, but only park 1 car in it. I have a double wide driveway and park 1 car in that and last car on the street. Eliminates the need to shuffle them since none are blocked-in.
I wish I did have an oversized garage which would allow 2 cars to be parked with more elbow room. The workbench, storage self, trash can, fridge, lawn mover etc make it impossible to park 2 cars in it.

15- Scion FR-S
15- Hyundai Veloster 17- Honda CR-V (Just traded in a Honda Pilot for this) The FR-s is the toy and stored. All vehicles are parked on the street. We don't have a garage or driveway. We're in an older part of the city/downtown. |

Quite a melting pot. Just missing some of the other Euros: Italian, Swedish, French, and British. And a Hyundai or Kia to cover the Korean marques. Of course for all we know you covered these at some point in the past already.

I'll tell you though that the Vehicross was one of the greatest cars I've ever owned. Amazing..... people would follow me until I parked just to ask what the hell it was.

Me and my fiance together own 3 with a 2 car garage and an apron off the driveway.
13 FRS for fun. 08 Hyundai Accent for commuting (60+ boring highway miles a day that doesn't get put on the FRS) and as a beater. Fiance's 08 Tribeca because she can't drive stick and it was a hand-me-down from her parents. Also, it replaced my 02 Outback LL Bean that literally fell apart as the bigger cargo car that can transport more that 2 people comfortably. |

I don't think I'd own an FR-S as my primary vehicle. My lease is up this coming summer and I'll actually just drive my 4Runner all the time. I liked the FR-S, but I've scratched that itch and the 4Runner is a better fit for my life. I'm sure I'll miss the FR-S, but the cost isn't worth keeping it. Bonus: my 3rd garage bay will be freed up for working on bikes and my trainer.

3 cars here as of 12/30/17. For 4 years I had a 2 seat sports car and something more practical. When Toyota bought my FRS back, I bought a Miata.
I spent 8 months renting a zip car down the street whenever I had to mount new tires (I go through a lot between autox and hpdes.) Ended up buying a relatively cheap and comfortable daily (2000 Mercedes C280 sport, 51k miles, one owner, dealer service records since new, $3k.) I have a one car garage. 4C lives in the garage, miata on the driveway, Mercedes on the street.

I have a gt86, a Golf 1.9 tdi station wagon and an '87 Chevy van g30. And 2 motorcycles.
I use the gt86 everyday, for commuting, for trips and for weekend-fun. The golf is for driving around with my 35kg dog, and for those days when I have friends/guests, and the chevy van is for all the times when I need a lot of space. I'm renovating my house, building 2 garages and working in my property and I find a van better than a pick up truck or simply a trailer. If I was living alone I would probably get rid of the golf as quick as possible, but my fiancee doesn't drive the van,so I will probably get rid of it when I'll be done with all the renovation, and replace the golf with a slightly bigger car. I have a baby "coming soon", but the gt86 won't leave. It's a hard life for us petrol heads |

Three car fam checking in.
- 2013 FRS - my toy - 2002 4Runner Sport Edition - ski truck - 2013 Prius - family car We have a 2 car garage and plenty of street parking so worst case scenario it's only mildly inconvenient. I'm pretty happy, it's a great trio... Each has a job and does it exceedingly well. TBH, if one was to go it'd be the FRS but I know from experience how hard it can be to get back into a sports car. Long term tho what I really want is a 911. But in the meantime the FRS it's a really solid placeholder. |

Current count is 5:
2014 Ford Focus LS (youngest son's DD at college) 2013 FR-S (my DD) 2005 Mustang (MomHawk's DD) 2002 Honda Accord LS/SE (middle son's car) 2004 Chevy Suburban Z71 (family hauler and bad weather tank) I suppose the Honda may not count as "mine" as my son pays all the expenses on it these days. We bought it for him when he turned 16 nine years ago and it just keeps going. I miss having a motorcycle in the garage, that will probably be my next purchase. I also have an airplane (2 seater kit) in my basement I should probably finish at some point. It's basically become a "when I retire" project. We have always owned at least one more car than we have drivers. It just seems to make life easier.

4 cars. 4 car garage. Only 3 cars in the garage. Also my dad leaves his car at our house. So 5 cars really. And when my parents visit, 6. Plus a utility trailer. Thinking of building a second garage, but priorities.
