There's one full set of DS2500 pads in stock.

Perfect for you next track day.

Has anyone tried the DS Performance pads on the 86 yet? Want to know what you think of it, compared to the stock items in terms of feel, fade, dust, etc...

Not that I know of.
No doubt they'll be a big improvement over stock.
The real comparison is with the DS2500. They're very similar except the DS Performance is quieter and will get a little spongy at high temps.

No they're not. They are a 290mm/18mm disc with 190mm handbrake hub.

They are for the early Jap Spec RA's that run the R180 (regular WRX's use the R160) diff with FHI 2 pot rears. This was before the Brembo equipped STI's.

They are the perfect rotor for adapting FHI 2 pot rears to a 86GT as they're already drilled for 5x100 instead of the 5x114.3 (having said that DBA now drills 5x100/5x114.3 on STi rotors anyway)

Look it up here:
http://www.dba.com.au/catalogue/online-catalogue/
Subaru -> Impreza -> WRX STI -> 2008
Part no. is 42656s-10

Anyway, the GTS already has a 190x18mm rear disc. The height might differ by a few mm to other Subie discs (64 vs 67.5mm), but not a big deal.

Well that's odd as I have a 656S sitting here.

ID: 134033, SKU: DBA656S, CODE: )
DBA656S Street Series T2 Slot

Generally DBA name there parts with a leading 4 for 4000 series and a leading 5 for 5000 series, but the last 3 digits are the same.

Looks like in the early days this convention wasn't followed.

Do you have the part number for the GTS rear disc. are the rears available in a 5000 series.

Yeh, the spanner in the works is the 2 in 42656. The new discs all seem to have the 2 there. The GTS disc is 2663. They don't have a 5000 option and don't have any plans to make them. That is unless someone wants to order say 50 of them and then they'll think about it.

I'm considering 2 pot FHI calipers for the rear of my rally car. All depends on what fronts I use and how it effects bias. I'll use slotted rear GTS discs.

I found the 656.
Look under Subaru -> Impreza -> WRX STI -> 2007 -> EJ207 engine. Looks like the only difference to the GTS disc is 2.5mm extra height.

For anyone on the fence, I run the ds2500 and they are a GREAT track and DD pad. I will eventually get a BBK and all, but my build budget has its limits at the moment, this is a great setup- I'm a big fan of DBA and run those on my s4 and my truck.

I have a full set of DS2500 pads here ready to ship. One of the first upgrades you should consider for the track.

I ended up caning that idea because I couldn't find a supplier for Wilwood.
Now looking at PhatBoy BBKs which will be about $3k for a full car set.
