I have been looking for an abandoned airfield to do a film shoot for 2 YEARS NOW. I have found nothing that is usable.

If you can find something, I will be forever in your debt.

And, yes, I would love too. As long as its not too far away.

A FB group would be cool!

My schedule is super-haphazard so I never know when I have free time... Mon-Fri I have school and on the weekend, I always end up having something to do...

I do make it to almost every Cars and Coffee though, so we can always chill there!

you're in high school? whaaaaa?

still love how people complained about push start before and having it or not having it, regardless every manual is a push start car
1) you can litterally push the car to start it
2)push with leg to start car(not sure how many people turn the key before they push the clutch, but i guess im one of them... lol)

Yeah, I had a long and storied past that I outlined in the BRZerhood page, explaining how I came to be... It was quite riveting... Many were surprised when they found out how old I was...

And snap! I have never tried turning the key and then pushing the clutch. Sounds kinda cool...

It was deleted because it was old, but I still have Mod Access to it so I'll post it up in a bit.

Found it!

Soooooo, guys, I figured I needed to tell you guys a bit more about myself, mostly due to the fact that everyone thinks I'm old... (I tried to tell Zaku this in IRC, but he logged off.... )

Sooo, when I was a wee lad of 12 years old, my brother came up with this crazy idea while he was just starting his classes for his eventual career in Automotive Engineering. This idea was to get my father to invest in one of those legendary Toyota Supras. But not one that was in good nick; rather, one that needed some TLC. His idea was that he could do a bit of wrenching and not only get experience in his field, but also make a bit of money while doing so.

I, as a curious 12 year old, was determined to help him. And so, I did.

We picked up a nice 1994 Toyota Supra in Rennaisance Red. It was a little beat up, and I think there were some mechanical problems here and there.

My brother and I spent many, many hours tooling on that thing (I was for mainly holding tools and things back then), and in the end, we had a wonderfully restored Supra. We sold it, and made a tidy profit.

But instead of stopping there, we kept going. And I got more and more involved in it as we went. I felt just a part of it as he was, and it certainly gave us a never-ending topic of discussion.

Here we are, many Supras (And a C5 Z06, and 2 WRX STis) later.

To be precise, 6 years later; and we have both made some money from it, and have had an experience that was more than amazing...

We're still going. Hence the White and Red Supras we currently own, but alas, as you may have realized, I am a young lad of eighteen years. This means that I will soon be leaving on collegiate duties, and need a car to take with me. I couldn't daily drive a Supra, I respect the car too much. I can't take my Avalon, as it is near its end. So this is where the BRZ comes in. Thankfully, I have, over the years, acquired the means to purchase one.

And that brings me to the present time.

This is where I stand. A wee boy of 18 years, but perhaps with a bit more sense than some others around me, perhaps not.

And that's my story, I figured I'd put this up in the BRZerhood page, because you guys are great, and I haven't ever really been too up front about my age, perhaps for the reason that people might not take me seriously.
