Why did the factory put a more expensive to produce two piece shaft in this car?
My RX-8 came factory with a single CF shaft.

I've always not liked how they rated in HP it makes things quite confusing. Still standing I am wondering what the limits actually are. My axles are rated for "600hp" from DSS and all I can think about is how they know what rpm I rev to :P

So i just ordered my SHAFT. I can't wait to get my SHAFT, so I can install the SHAFT and see what it feels like. This SHAFT should add a little bit of driving pleasure. Man, I can't wait!

Given the moment of inertia, the effect wont be large.
