What is the rated torque for these shafts?
Why did the factory put a more expensive to produce two piece shaft in this car? My RX-8 came factory with a single CF shaft. Horsepower sells cars. Torque wins races. John |

So i just ordered my SHAFT. I can't wait to get my SHAFT, so I can install the SHAFT and see what it feels like. This SHAFT should add a little bit of driving pleasure. Man, I can't wait!

From my understanding, the PST retains the dust collar on the gearbox side whereas the DSS does not.

just wondering but in theory wouldn't removing rotational mass from the car with the carbon shaft better the gas mileage a bit if not pounded on?
