Have you tried removing the engine cover? I am still hoping the GS bar will fit.

Since you've got the blocks installed and you've got a GS brace already, see how much taller it would need to be in order to fit. Maybe @GrimmSpeed could make a high clearance version of their bar.

From what @Vic has said it sounds like it maybe possible to grind a trough across the inlet manifold to allow the GS bar to fit.

A number of strut tower bars aren't flat across the top. Cusco, FT86SF, and Whiteline, to name a few. I don't think normal body flex would put enough stress on the angles to cause flex or failure.

Sounds like what I went through. Forgot about the hose during start up and died. And as stated, driver's side was PITA!! So far my vacuum hose has held up being zip tied. Oh and I broke my stupid engine cover. How much are those things anyways?

So far it seems that with a stock ECU, there's zero change in gas mileage consumption. -alex |

Installed the blocks last night but just got to test the car...
MUCH better! There's definitely a small torque increase before the dip. The dip itself is narrowed significantly and continues to pull through about 7k rpm, which is where I shift, anyway. These BPBs seem to make more of a tq/hp increase than my header did, which was noticeable, too. Good bang for the buck? .. Definitely
