NO, you can't, you need proper USB MCVI (interpreter) cable

For programs that run real time low level communications.. You should not run them in a VM session or have other apps running. These cables and software need low level access to hardware ports and you can screw up the timing of things.

Run an engine system health check.. The calibration is displayed on the right side.

Yes.. I believe so.. It has an OBDII diagnostics menu.. I didn't have any codes to clear.. So I have not tried.. But it looks to be full functioning..
