Here are the key parts and treatments that Outfront Motorsports selected for the 2015 engine with 2,600 miles on it that I bought from a forum member. Much thanks to @CSG Mike for most valuable advice and for sourcing a part that technically did not yet exist
- Custom CP Carrillo FA20 Pistons for BRZ/FRS 12.5:1 CR 86.5mm
- Piston Ceramic Crown And Moly Skirt Coating
- Carrillo Subaru/Toyota FA20 Pro-H 3/8 CARR Bolt Connecting Rods
- King Performance FA20 Main and Rod Bearings
- Ferrea valves (+1mm on exhaust side)
- Supertech Dual Valve Spring Kit W/ Titanium Retainers for BRZ 74 lb
- Subaru FA20 BRZ Left Intake + Exhaust and Right Intake + Exhaust Cam Gears
- Fluidampr Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota 86 FA20/4U-GSE 2014+ Steel Internally Balanced Damper
- Outfront Motorsports 1/2" Head Stud Kit
- WPC Treatment for Bearings, H4 Crankshaft, Connecting Rod, Wrist Pin, Thrust Bearing, 4 Cyl Camshaft Set, Rocker, Valves, Valve Spring Retainers, Valve Springs, Rocker Arm Pivot, Oil Pump Gears
- Motul Breakin Oil 10w40

...and some other things not engine related that will largely complete this build...

Few additional orders, for the last stage when all three OEM seats come out and most of the interior gets removed:
- Autopowerindustries Race Roll Bar With Options (part# 60783), where diagonal and harness tubes are rmovable so I can transport spare wheels and other things to/from track, then mount the bars before going on track.
- Sparco Ergo L race seat
- Schroth Profi-II 6-point harness
- Planted seat bracket (thanks @zdr93523 for sharing)
- Ptuning Windshield Washer Reservoir kit
- Perrin motor mounts (already have them, so will replace with new just for good measure since engine, transmission, headers, etc. are getting replaced)

Welcome @Beastronix - this is where we landed - looking forward to it, thx

Requirements
- 2014 Monogram Scion FR-S with airbags in driver and passenger seats
- All other airbags remain for now. (looking to switch to race steering wheel in the future, maybe not)
- Both driver and passenger seats disconnected and removed.
- OEM seatbelts stay. Driver side bottom seat belt connector moved onto new Planted seat base.
- Pass NY state inspection as I drive to/from track.

Desired features
- default is track-friendly: all nannies off + ABS stays on + no seatbelt chime + no airbag light + no TPMS light.
- single switch/button #1 (red LED) turns all nannies back on for street driving but leaves everything else as is (no change from default track-friendly mode).
- single switch/button #2 (green LED) turns fan on (when in off position, fan behaves as usual - turns on automatically at 210F oil temp).
- switches mounted near trunk button left of steering wheel.

Proposed and Purchased Solution
- Custom 86Nanny with ACC pass-thru harness and 2 LED toggle switches.
- Automated 24/7 features will be belt chimes disable, TPMS disable and airbag indicator disable.
- Switch 1 will control the nannies (PD). If the switch is left in the ON position the car with start in a default track mode. Flipping the switch off will turn all nannies back on.
- Switch 2 will control fan lock. When the switch is ON the fans will lock to 100% power. When the switch is off the fans obey the factory set of instructions by the ECU, they will not disable.

dp1 street legal track build (NY)

@DeliciousTuning recommended going from the 11psi MAP to the 4bar MAP. The FnG tune will be updated accordingly.

First start of the new built engine was successful! Now out with the break-in Motul and in with conventional Valvoline 10w40 oil for several oil changes including 3000mi, then switch to synthetic Motul 300V for the rest of time. I should have the car on Saturday then less than a week until the first track runs

Looking into options to upgrade transmission before I destroy the 2015 transmission with low miles that was just installed. My 2014 gearbox is in great shape and I would prefer upgrading gears/internals to swapping a different gearbox model.

Looks like @JacksTrans is reputable and has options - Who's ready for a double synchro 4th gear? and BRZ / FRS transmission build services. Up to $3k for performance build including all gear treatments + PAR gears + double synchro for 4th gear.

Will call Jack's soon to look into this.

Talked to Jack @JacksTrans and expect that we will do business in the future, possibly involving testing of different options on each of my two transmissions.

Drove the car home from EFI Logics. Very strong and linear power delivery, exactly what I was hoping for. Now let's see how it holds up on track. This round of upgrades included:
- low mileage 2015 engine custom built by Outfront Motorsports
- high boost pulley for Rotrex C38
- Fluidampr
- ACT clutch
- 4bar MAP sensor
- updated @DeliciousTuning Flash and Go (FNG) tune
- ACE 4-2-1 EL header
- ACE catless front pipe
- custom CSG fan shroud with Spal fans
- new Koyo rad and CSF filler neck
- ptuning windshield washer reservoir
- new Perrin engine mounts
- ACT SB7-XTSS clutch

Found the air filter wrap that fits 6.5x5 dimensions of the C38 Jackson Racing air filter: AEM 1-4007 Dry Flow Air Filter Wrap. Wrap dimensions are advertised as 6.2x4.9 but it fits comfortably on the 6.5x5 filter. This should work well for going to a car wash (with hood louvers) and driving in rain. Keep checking the wrap after each use to see if it needs cleaning as it does get dirty. Restricted air flow will rob you of very little power - worthy compromise to avoid getting moisture in, IMHO.
