Took my Hot Lava home on Wednesday, it's better than I remember in the test drive.

Got my blue one today, dealer did exactly as instructed and left the car alone (even the stickers/tape/wrap).

Taking it in on Sunday afternoon for post delivery detail and full front/hood Xpel Ultimate (the self-healing stuff) - 25% more than 3M but I think it will be worth it.

Nice! I've been driving mine a ton the last few days too. And will probably again this evening, for no reason/destination other than that it's fun.

I am impatient to wait till 1,500 km for break in.
Already driving it constantly over 5,000 rpm.

Haven't really pushed it other than a little trip on highway 22 with a couple of guys running interference in front and behind. Its a hell of a trip driving this car.

1250 with post delivery detail/wash and full hood. Was 850 or so with partial hood. But I HATE the line.

I run it through the entire rpm range on a regular basis

It's such a low car I think full hood is a better idea anyway.

There's only one in town that's listed as doing Xpel Ultimate. I asked them for a quote through their website but they never got back to me. Yay for customer service.

Yep if it was steel and I'd get a CF hood then I wouldn't do it, but since it's a light aluminum hood so might as well protect it and use it year round.

I got mine wrapped in the xpel. The hood is only half way up, but you really cant tell all that much with the stuff. As for rock chips above the line I guess I'll just have to see what happens, price difference was quite substantial... The xpel ultimate is amazing! My front bumper, hood, head lights, mirrors, fenders, rocker panel all the way back including behind the rear wheels, behind the door handles, and on the rear bumper at the ledge for the trunk all have xpel on it and its quite fantastic.
