My aunt tricked Granny into signing her house over to her while she was in the hospital. Yep, my aunt Betty took everything. I don't think my Dad and his brother ever spoke to her again.

Sorry to hear. My dad went through that 3-4 years ago and it fractured our extended family beyond repair. We used to have regular extended family gatherings for holidays, haven't had one since. My aunt thinks my dad messed up handling the estate, mostly centered on the sale of the house, but he carried it out exactly as wished. I have had to set a few of my cousins straight on that. The messed up part is my aunt is by far the most well off between my dad and my two aunts.

I wish I did, keep trying to buy one but can't seem to decide exactly what my needs are. I did find a nice scenic road about 30 miles long that I'll be visiting.

Ohhh me likey, I mostly want something that will event-incident record when the vehicle is parked, send me a notification. Having a speed feature like yours is a big plus.

Yeah. It's hard wired and it has the parking mode feature. Haven't actually tried that yet.

Those that will actively send you notifications require some kind of service/data subscription. Just keep that in mind.

Yep, fer sure. That's the reason I'm planning on having nothing of value when I pass. That will save the kids from themselves -

My parents spent what little money they had raising their five kids. My siblings and I realized there would only be a handful of items with sentimental value, and everything else was destined for the estate sale. As far as I know, none of us felt cheated out of anything except more time with mom and dad.
