Just installed this TRD heel pad @supa2nv. Really good quality for the price. aluminium is a couple of mm thick and comes with hex bolts to secure to mat.

Recommended if you like the look.

They really have some good stuff. Soldering is good, brightness is good, LED's are not all crooked or give off super glue fumes, and they are VERY well priced!

psh no way. Not from Diode. All of my LED's from them are plug and play, no modification needed. I actually found that the trunk LED they have fits in the vanity door lights on the BRZ limited models (does the 10 series have these?).

As many of the guys said, we have great products!

Plus I'll always be here to help

Here is a link to our switchbacks:
http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/l...turn-leds.html

We have these on our 2013 FRS and they are awesome! The CF18 Flasher makes this a completely plug and play kit with no resistors needed!

Let me know if you have any questions about anything!

Thanks
Nick C.

I can vouch for Diode Dynamics. Great guys! Hooked me up with my LED side mirror turn signals that I absolutely LOVE! And my amber fog light bulbs for that classic AE86 look!

Yeah bro I just ordered a few things

Switchbacks, rear signals with aluminum housing (my car has a billet theme lol), 5 LEDs for clear corners license plate and trunk, ordered the relay, and also hid kit for my fogs.

Can't wait!

Great customer service.

Nice! That's what I got, too, but not from Diode.

Are you not worried about the HIDs burning the plastic fog light housings? That's why I haven't got mine yet. Either going with Outback glass replacements or 2012+ Impreza halo ring fog light replacements. This is all assuming the 10 Series is also plastic.

Ok I followed up with the co they say they sell a 35w kitt for this reason and not the higher output. Diode tested this kit in their car. I'm comfortable with it.

I haven't checked up on it in months, honestly, but apparently people were either slightly melting or having burn-in. I had a WRX with glass fogs, so I know the trade off is that glass is way, way, way more susceptible to cracking, but you can put HIDs in them all day. Our plastic ones are nice for not cracking (mine are still strong after 25k, being in Alaska, and driving to southern California and back), but I can definitely see where there would be burning. I'm sure it depends on how often you use them as well.

Nothing wrong with getting the HID kit you want first, trying them out, and then maybe getting more appropriate fogs later.

I had fogs on my 2001 Impreza 2.5RS coupe and those were also very prone to cracking. Alaska is hell on front ends, though.

Edit:

Yeah, I forgot about 35w vs higher. I prefer 35w, too, so let me know how it goes!
