It depends on the insurance company and/or state law.

Not my insurance. They expect you to just transfer them to your next vehicle. They may cover the transfer and replacement physical plates if you ask nicely. You don't have to answer this but is your ins co. one of the big national ones? Like Geico, State Farm, Farmers, Progressive?

Sigh.. Totaled or not?

In md they are responsible for ttt. It differs from state to state.
Look up ins laws in va on your gov website

No to the matching a used one with 10k miles...that is not comparable. They have to find used ones with similar miles. In a local area (75mile)
There is a used at brz at jones junction for 25k with 600 miles on it. Use that one as an example

I'm with state farm, he has some no name insurance.

This is my first accident.. I'm not exactly sure where to look that up.. If someone wants to point me in the right direction... That'll be great. I'm in Virginia..

Just getting ready before I goto insurance tomorrow, so I don't look clueless..

Nope, no matching car even in the 100 mile range... Yours is a BRZ, mine's a FRS.. So mines cheaper.. Though mins an auto though.

I just hope everything goes smooth tomorrow.

I also have State Farm and I'm 99% sure that even in Virginia they will go with the cost of replacing your totaled. The replacement cost is the price of a like-model car of the same year.

You will be fine! And let State Farm handle all of it for you. They will even provide legal representation if needed at no cost to you.

Hence why I wish you would have quoted the rest of my post, considering that I already discussed this. My title was a "salvage title" but at the time I could not afford to try to find ANOTHER car, so I forced State Farm to fix it.

I still sold it for 5k back to a dealer. It was actually part of my deposit for my FR-S

Oh how sad
I hope they total it, and you can get yourself a new one

You'll be in a new one in no time. You were not at fault and your insurance co will fight for you to be "whole again"
