As a finger style guitarist I can relate to protecting one's nails on the playing hand. I know many full time players/preformers who use acrylic nails. Heck, even I have when I've damaged or broken my real nails.
Girls of all ages like to get their backs scratched with them too. Ask my wife, my daughters and grand daughters.

The joke was; How do you know a mechanic is looking to get laid? He's scrubbed his fingernails until they were almost completely clean.

I could understand that, but he said it is for looks. He doesn't dress like a warehouse guy, he usually wears nicer clothes. If it was up to me, he wouldn't have made it through his probationary period, he missed 13 days in that span on top of being a terribly slow worker and not willing to learn anything. Our warehouse manager is an idiot.

So of course I go down and tell the warehouse manager, "hey, give your guys regular work gloves so we are not needlessly wasting the nitrile ones." He of course tells his guys I don't want them using nitrile gloves they have to use other gloves so now I have to go down and have words with all of them to straighten it out. Turns out the reason the warehouse guy wears gloves all the time is because he gets his nails done and doesn't want to ruin them
DANG - NoHaveMSG - take a pill -

Then go down and suggest to the warehouse manager that if his employee wants to wear nitrile gloves to protect his nails that's OK, just wear work gloves over the nitrile gloves to protect the nitrile gloves.

Found this in moms attic. The wing didn't survive the last 50 years. Obviously an MT. Have to add some weight to it.

I don't know why, but I remember the last time my wife and I went out to dinner in Saratoga California. We were in the twin. We went to La Fondue in downtown Saratoga. When we came out, there was a Porsche 918 on one side of my car, and a Bugatti Veyron on the other.

Random remembrance.

I've been going thru a box of stuff my mom saved for me. My first ticket, my room pictures, every school year and class pictures. All the newspaper clippings when I was on the USA Olympic wrestling team, and all the people I put in jail when I was a government internal auditor, and an officer for the state department of justice.

Emotional time going thru everything. I don't think my mom threw anything away.

Dam I was one handsome kid.

Heh I had a similar moment a couple years ago at Santana Row. Parked on the strip at like 7am (can't remember why I was up that early on a weekend ). Nobody else was there.

I went off to walk down the strip, and when I got back my car was surrounded.

I think another exotic was parked behind me before I got this pic. It was a bunch of these famous car youtuber/instagrammers I've never heard of. Basically rich kids with fancy cars who go racing on i5 and other freeways because they don't care about getting caught.
