Does the exhaust side taper from a 2.5"to 3"? Do you feel a small taper?

So today we were gonna try and start the car for the first time, but before doing so we disconnected the turbo feed line and were swinging the engine with the fuel pump disconnected trying to prime the oil system too we saw oil come out the line first but it never came :-( :-(

We are kinda speechless and not sure what to do next...

Any idea anyone? Anyone help would be greatly appreciated

Where did you connect the feed line? If you remove the line all together did you get oil?

This is where we get it from

We only disconnected it from off of the turbo when we swung the engine

Is that an oil pressure sensor? If so, are you getting a reading?

Is that location off the head? Is that an oil galley plug, or just a port into the head that you drilled and tapped? It doesn't look like it is off the block is why I asked. I don't know if it needs to be. Was it a stock sensor location? Can you take a picture further out too.

Ok, I looked again, that is the stock oil pressure sensor location you hooked into and the oil pressure sensor is there.

That is really odd that you don't have pressure. Either there is an obstruction that occured during the rebuild or there is an obstruction in the fitting or line, right? What else could it be?

My coworker is a nurse and a Subaru STI owner and is an awesome ex-mechanic. I ran your situation by him, and he had a similar response to people in the link, that more time and rpm's are needed to build pressure in the system.
