Anyone consider swapping to the FRS springs to get the rear end a little looser? Im swapping to konis and have a set of extra FRS springs. Might be worth a try?

You could do that, but then you would be in STX. You would also want to swap to the softer front springs to make much of a difference.

I've driven both cars and it's not worth the trouble.

If you swap front and rear, whats the difference between the FRS 10 series and a BRZ limited?

Does anyone know if the Series 1.0 would qualify as C-Street legal? I see the TRD lowering springs and wonder....

Are you saying SCCA would need to class the RS 1.0 as a particular trim? I think its the opposite actually. If the SCCA does NOT classify the FR-S RS1.0 as a different trim, it would be legal for CS, no?

Assuming you have a BRZ this modification would put you in STX - it isn't CS legal.

Given the spring changes the RS1.0 will likely be classified separately and not in CS. I'd suspect BS.

Hopefully it will get classed...otherwise we will have another MSR/ZOK in CS

Youre right, I thought Appendix A had years in it (i.e. 2013-2014), but it doesnt.

The SCCA is scared of special edition cars, it will end up in BS where it won't be competitive.

They don't want a relatively rare car (1500 units) to be an overdog, I can appreciate that. Though we're so far down on the 370Z, I don't think it matters.

How big of a deal would it be to use 7.5 rims vs 7.0 with 225 tires? Or should I not even bother doing this with scca since its not allowed.

Someone would probably shit their pants, even at the local level. I wouldn't go that route in C-Street.
