I now understand why the there is a cooling off period for gun purchases in Ontario! Although soon I will not need one since my head will just explode all on it's own.

Never ceases to amaze me at how any manufacturer could have the balls to change a platform so radically and still badge it as a such-and-such.

I think s0sl0w in the City Driver MT vs AT thread is RichardsFRS' second account. That person has some serious AT hate bottled up inside them.....

I will still never get tired of the old "MT gives you more control." Without starting a debate can someone please give an honest to god reason how this is true? I can be in whatever gear I want in a given situation and still shift gears with both hands on the wheel?! Explain this to me please please please

EDIT: Gonna ad the disclaimer that I fully understand back in the day with terrible ATs that a veteran manual driver would most likely be in a more appropriate gear than the AT but I cannot find anything to suggest this has any merit anymore with modern automatic transmission logic. And I am seriously looking for a reason. No flaming at all as I could definitely be missing something. Other than @Ashikabi 's ability to willfully blow your own engine :P

The auto won't downshift into a dangerous gear but the manual will(then blow your motor)? It's technically more control
