Taking Off the engine cover so I can fit grimmspeed bar and the crawford billet does it create any problem?

I mean is the engine cover pure astetically or not?

It's just for visual appeal, I'll be taking it off to accommodate the performance parts as well.

Nothing except aesthetic.

I've removed it several months ago.

Not sure why there was so much hate on this product. This isn't the first plenum spacer ever made. Motordyne made a plenum spacer for the VQ35. I bought one for my 350z but never got around to installing it, before I sold the car.

Power wise yes... but shifting the power to a more usable RPM is still a valid idea. We will test them on our Turbo BRZ to see how the gains are.

Cheaper, lighter, more heat resitant. AKA: Better.

Everyone says a few pounds here and there don't matter and then wonder how cars have ballooned in weight.
You could easily remove the safety and sound insulation shields from the injectors if that's how you feel.

@WolfsFang How much do you think those CCW wheels cost to manufacture? I'm willing to bet the profit margin is even bigger than Crawford's. Lol. Also, did you choose 16s because you couldn't afford 18s?

unfortunately that's just how it will be on this platform. budget priced car = people wanting budget priced mods.

We have a bracket that we can supply in the kit for the shield removal. Thanks for bringing that up

I'm planning on removing the shield anyway, that doesn't mean I want to buy a heavier than needed product.

Also: I have no issue with exercising some capatalism, I have no demand for this product as it's constructed and know that I'm not the only one who would like to see it made from a lighter materiel. I wouldn't even care if they still wanted $500 for it. The product is heavier than needed. The end.

You should repost the link. I have had at least ten people tell me they are adding it to their list of mods to purchase coming up. I'll forward it to them. And I'll toss it in the original post.
