+1 for MT-90. I know people like to use Motul gear 300 but the fact that it was GL-5 spec(technically has additives that make it backwards compatible with GL-4 spec transmissions) just didn't sit well with me. Plus MT-90 is nice and smooth for me in my climate even on cold starts. |

Do we need any additives for the diff?
BTW: this is a track only car in Texas, so cold weather driving isn't really a concern. I can't imagine either oil is cold for more than about 1 minute, the drive from the garage to the grid.

Need no... I went with gear 300 LS over normal LS because its a GL-5 only fluid not a hybrid 4/5. Cost is close enough and I don't see how it could hurt
