2015: Average Delivery Time?
Just curious if anyone ordered their car and how many weeks it took to take delivery?
One dealer told me 6-8 weeks. My dealer told me 8-12 weeks. Does anyone work at a Toyota/Scion dealership and have any insight? Anyone go through the ordering process themselves? Thanks. |

I waited nearly 10 weeks to get my Monogram despite ordering as early as possible. It should be a lot easier with a regular FRS so they're probably right about the time. These cars come from the west coast first before being sent to the east end, so you end up waiting for them to be shipped from Japan, waiting for them be allocated and sent from the port, waiting while they travel to your end of the country before finally being sent to individual dealers. Just assume the longest time, you'll be less anxious as a result. Regardless, these cars are well worth the wait.

Um decent size dealer. We sell almost no scions though. So I started here and somehow became the Scion guy haha. |

I ordered mine in April last year, built in June then shipped to USA and took delivery in August. To be fair, it was a 10 Series and in the beginning getting them was a true PITA (allocation issues/delays in transit/held at port).
I'd probably do it again (but at a better dealership). |

They hadn't gotten any 2015s yet. They had 2014 monograms in stock, but I had no interest in the extra "jazz". And price. Also not a fan of alcantara in the summer (had an 06 STI) -Will |
