Why you should not run away from cops? Because if the police man die from heart atack, they will charge you for homicide

"The stick provided a lever, significantly improving the throwing distance. The Model 24 could be thrown approximately 30 yards (27 m) to 40 yards (37 m), whereas the British Mills bomb could only be thrown about 15 yards (14 m)[2] (however the British War Office report "WO 291/472 Performance and handling of HE grenades" gives an average figure for a standing throw of a Mills bomb as 30 yards (27 m), when crouched 25 yards (23 m) and lying 24 yards (22 m)). The stick design also minimized the risk of the grenade rolling downhill back towards the thrower when used in hilly terrain or in urban areas. However, the additional length of the handle meant that fewer could be carried." Sounds reasonable to me. humfrz |

Yep, a .22, .22 RFM, 12 gage shotgun, 45 auto, 357 mag and a 30-30. The most "impressive" was a 3" 12 gage shotgun shell with a slug. It was a good teaching moment for the oldest boy, the second son was more interested in finding large chunks of watermelon to eat. Now I wonder WHY I was concerned, while the younger one was serving 4 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan ??..... humfrz |

I'm still having an adventure....two weeks ago I sent my s2000 to get detailed and painted to be prepared for sale. I wanted to hand over a nice car to whomever buys her so I put some work into her. Body shop returned it a week ago with the wrong paint, the guy also got pulled over driving my car.., I wouldn't be surprised if he was speeding. The cop wrote him up for an expired reg, which was stupid because the car was registered in a whole another state. They took my car back to fix the paint. Car came back with right paint now things seemed good, the brought it back with no gas, well ok I filled it drove it 15 mins down the road and parked it to run an errand, came back out car won't start, not with a jump. Don't know if they tampered with the car, now I've been waiting two hours to get it towed to a dealer for diagnosis the dealer is 2 miles away....
Yup having an adventure... Car never really had issues till I was prepping it for sale....I wish it would wait to have any issues because my new car is on order. If the shop tampered with the car all he'll be breaking lose. Maybe I should get a lawyer just in case.

DANG, Zaku ...... you are having a time of it .......
I figure that the dealership will discover that either the battery or the alternator (or both) is wore out. Let's hope it's not something more serious. If it is the battery or alternator, have a new one would be a good selling point ..... humfrz |

You have to consider the method in which grenades are supposed to be thrown. If you do it properly you will have very similar leverage from any position. Not like throwing a ball.

I was imagining a straight forward throw which seemed like it would go about 6 ft and drop
