What's the waiting period for a header these days? Just wondering before I buy it.

I believe our next shipment (which is expected to arrive next week) is pretty big and should leave us with units in stock after all backorders are filled. But to be sure, shoot an email to the sales guys at sale@openflashperformance.com. The will know better than I.

For those of you waiting for the next shipment of headers, it looks promising. I received my tracking information today.

Looking forward to it.

OK so I've got some new logs. I reflashed stage 2 uel 91 octane and started data logging immediately after. IAM was indeed reset to 1.

The first log is pretty boring. Normal, low throttle city driving for about 15 minutes. IAM did not change.

Second log I drove a little harder on the way home. You can see the IAM cut to .88 and there is some knock shown around 3k rpm.

Weird thing about this second log - it does not show me going above 7k. And I am sure I redlined it, twice, at the two peaks. Weird??

Bit of knock arround 3000k rpm is very common.its only very minor and wont rearly hurt anything but if you want to stop the occasional iam drop then pull about 0.7 degrees from 2400 to 4000 rpm loads 0.6 to 1.1.

Then see how it goes just note where you get knock load/rpm and pull small amounts of timing. you will never completly eliminate it on 91 fuel.

If jb86'd is on same setup as you on 91 fuel get a copy of his changes.

Is it even worth the effort then? Should I just let the ECU do its thing and run a retarded ignition multi?

You could just leave it if you want

however when IAM drops ecu pulls timing from entire rpm range for safety so it takes away from top end even though knock is only at lower rpm. Its not much but us fiddlers just like to fiddle and get thing just right.

Stock factory tune runs iam around 0.5 to 0.7 and pulls around 3 degrees knock correction on 91 fuels.

Have you updated your template (3/27) and OFM 1.18.4? I did a few WOT and none of it showed up, but I haven't had any issues since updating.

thanks... the concept is a little scary but if it really is just editing numbers to match your table... I will take a go.

I have not, the OFT is telling me to update my template when I log. However the last few logs show me hitting 7600rpm and I havent changed anything.
