Are they plastic, or aluminum? It's better than spending 500+ on the 86 airbag.

Think long plastic trays with bolt holes on the perimeter.

I could be wrong but aren't ask these parts people are complaining about the FRS not having, available from the dealer? Also, if you want them so bad, just buy them and install them yourself. I'm not seeing the problem with Scions sales scheme. And as far as "only abridging on espn".. I've seen FRS commercials and I don't watch sports, however, many younger folks do watch sports, therefore, to be seen the most by your target consumer, you would advertise where you think the most of them will see it. I'm guessing soon doesn't use their advertisement dollars on the Lifetime channel. Be kinda wasteful

You cannot easily install keyless access/push button start systems, auto climate control, heated leather seats, and HID/LED headlamps. It's much easier and less problematic to just have a model with those options for those that want them. There are many people out there who consider at least one of those things a must-have these days.

And no, making a one-off limited edition in a unique color does not count. Customers want choices and options and the ability to negotiate prices at times. And not everyone wants to be associated with the radical youth Scion branding either. (Although, I'm not one that cares about the Scion badge.)

Gaming consoles are marketed to the exact same crowd but no one is complaining about being associated with them. So who cares? Who seriously judges you based on whether your car is a scion or a Toyota?

I like the regular FRS, but I could never get over how the base headlights looked. The GT86 headlamps really complete the front of the car in my opinion. If the Monogram wasn't released I would have just bought a BRZ.

Again I have to go against the flow with my personal taste. If I had been able to get a Monogram Lava my vey first act would probably have been to swap headlights with somebody. There is just something about the straight line of the led strips that ruins the flow of the front end for me.
Now in full disclosure I have never seen one in real life and this opinion is based solely on pictures.
