Well then the question is, which produces less NVH? The bushing or insert?

These "collars" if you will, likely produce more NVH. That is a guess as I don't have one of these, just the trans-mount insert in polyurethane.

Is the increased vibration worth it for a daily driver? I notice the slop in the transmission a lot, but don't want to make it too harsh. I kind of wish they made a Stage 1 insert that was slightly soft and still allowed a bit more than .1" of travel. Stock is about .5" AFAIK.

WOW! The insert/stiffener is BEYOND AWESOME!!!!!!

I installed it last night, I'll get some photos up later(If I have time), but I can finally wot shift this car/shift it effortlessly at high rpm. My huge issue with the tranny/shifter linkage on this car was that it jiggles around so much under hard acceleration/deceleration, that when you try and shift quickly you cant. I have a kartboy shifter and all available kartboy bushings installed, but it still seemed like there was other things(transmission) wiggling around preventing shifting nirvana. The shifter feels SOLID now.

It does increase vibration in the car a little bit, but it doesn't bother me one bit now that I know how easily it shifts. The wife knew I was working on the car last night, but she doesnt know what...So I'll report what her feedback is/if she notices.

Thank you Forcefab for making me love my car again!

Seriously though, if you are irritated by the sloppy transmission feel, this will make you happy again.

how does the shift feel as a daily driver compared to stock? Less movement on the shifter with a slight additional NVH?

Looks like the description was copied off the Perrin website and pasted in. "Perrin" has been replaced with "Forcedfab" and "support" and been replaced with "stiffener"

Oh well, snagged one up anyways as I couldn't resist this price.

Okay, no pics yet(too lazy to upload) but wife report is in.

We do photography, and drove 240 miles today for an event today. Street driving, freeway, traffic and aggressive acceleration were test parameters. About 40 miles into the drive, I asked her if she noticed anything, she said the car sounded a little louder, and wasn't as smooth. However, she did not give the thumbs down, and did not bring it up again except for the times I mentioned it(I kept talking about how awesome it was lol). The car does sound pretty darn mean inside while accelerating quickly, and this mod is definitely here to stay. While cruising on the freeway/around streets(maintaining constant speed) it's only a little but louder/vibrates more, but when starting from a stop, or accelerating quickly, it's definitely noticeable vs stock. If you are super picky about your car needing to feel really smooth/quiet/like a Prius, this mod might not be for you, and just a regular kartboy trans insert will suffice...but those willing to deal with some extra sound/vibration, this is totally worth it to get the best shifting experience. And worse case? Sell it, it was only $25 to begin with.
