Godspeed Coilovers

Hey guys, I have recently started looking around for coilover options. Having done some reading, I have decided to go a level up from BC/Megan/Stance because I eventually plan on tracking the car down the road and would like a good quality, rebuildable system (e.g., Fortune Auto 500, Ark DT-P, ISC N1). That said, I have noticed Godspeed Mono-RS coilovers seem to have a good reputation amongst the 8th gen Civic crowd for tracking (one guy even currently competes with them, apparently with success). The thing is, they can be had for a bit below $1k so the price seems a little too good to be true. At this point, I feel as if the best way to determine whether I should still consider these or not is to ask if anybody has any direct experience with these coilovers on their car.

Here is a link for reference: http://www.godspeedproject.com/Scion...ver-Suspension

Pretty much all 1k coilovers are the same, I mean few have minor differences but most are gonna be similar. The reason I went with Parts Shop Max is because I loved their customer service and the rebuild parts are in stock and they are local. One thing to keep in mind is sooner or later you will need to rebuild them.

I guess I'm just taking a shot in the dark hoping to have found a unicorn lol. Anyway, those Parts Shop Max coilovers look good. Where can they be purchased? The website looks to be Japanese that's why.

they look just like the ISIS coilovers. And they seem to be under BC/Stance

I have a set of Godspeed's Mono-RS on my girlfriends car and they work great. I have a bunch of friends with Megans that spent a lot more than what we spent on the Godspeeds. Godspeed has really stepped it up, I have a brand new set that might be up on the market soon because I'm selling my FRS to get a new car.

Between PSM and Godspeed I believe the Godspeed coil over is the better value. Plus the Godspeed's are rebuild-able as well.

Have you actually ever looked into the cost of actually rebuilding the Godspeed?

^^^ This

Honestly..all these new coilover brands is making it crazy confusing to sort/filter out and know which are the well-developed race-bred companies/brands, from the chinese knockoffs (a reason why I mistakingly confused RCE/KW as being one of them very recently, because I've been out of the car game for 12+ years and din't know).

I wish there were much less coilover offerings these days and that coilovers were very difficult/impossible to make for chinamade/cheapy/ebay-esque brands.
