Video of my best run from last weekend here in Sacramento:

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L30oiMQxr0M"]autox518run1 ( SCCA Autocross at Mather ) - YouTube[/ame]

I don't plan on competing seriously the whole season, but I did place first in ST-X on both Saturday and Sunday and paxed rather well too:

Saturday: http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Sacrame...%20Results.htm

Sunday: http://www.sfrscca.org/solo2/Sacrame...%20Results.htm

32/188 on Saturday, 29/142 Sunday.

The car runs really well, but I need more front camber... Currently only .8 negative front camber and 2.0 rear camber.

I want ~1.5 front camber, but I don't want to run camber plates. I'm currently using the OEM camber bolts but thats as much as I was able to get. Will the Crash bolts get me up to ~1.5 or do I need to try something different?

Just for kicks, my spin from my first run on Saturday:

Give me a week or two when I can get in to an alignment. I will be running OEM crash bolts with SPC camber bolts in the lower hole. I think it should net about -2 based on the 1 or 2 other people who went with this idea.

The "crash" lower bolts in the upper hole are not going to get you to -1.5. You will need actual camber bolts or plates for that.

Speaking of camber bolts, how do the SPC bolts hold up to Autocross duty?

So it hit some stuff that fell of a truck on the freeway and it cracked my bumper bad. I've never done a SCCA pro event before I have my first Pro Solo in two weeks. I'm not worried about regional events, but is this damage enough to not pass tech inspection for a Pro Solo or Pro Tour? I also have a cracked windshield but that can get replaced before.

I'm fairly competitive at my small local club level but have neither the modifications, nor the driving ability to be competitive at a larger event. Yesterday, I finally found out the extent of that competitive gap when a good driver and properly set up STX FR-S car are paired together. I'm still walking a little funny this afternoon.

Bumper - Tech is not the problem. It looks like some stuff broke and fell off. Could get a weenie protest in theory, but typically STX'ers aren't complete assbags. You could get creative and find the component weight of the piece, print that out, then painter's tape on some stuff of equal weight to the area...

Windshield - Tech problem. Needs fixing.

I'm getting that grill/bezel piece that is missing to fill the hole so I'll have that fixed before hand, but not the crack. I'll have a new windshield installed beforehand for sure. I just wanted to make sure the bumper wouldn't keep me from racing.

Thanks!

Anyone want to comment on the legality of the TRD quick shifter in STX? Seems it's not a short shifter, but a modification to the linkage and probably not legal.

Opinions?

So I was in STX but I have added Crawford power blocks and have zero cats and a rear diffuser. Would that put me in SSM or... ? Thanks for any input as I haven't had time to search it and I am registering today.

You can run SM. Pretty much anything can.
