Well they don't replace your lights, the rings go around your projectors. And why would orange lights get you pulled over? It's one of 2 colors that are actually legal on the street here(other one is white)

Halo is nice for pics but IMHO in real life it looks ugly. Sick of them on Civics and now Camaros.

That's cuz they've come a long way from the dim ass ccfl rings they had before. Much more affordable and accessible. Come in all colors now

And they look terrible in 99% of applications. I usually picture the owners of cars who have them as the kind of people who say things like "Road's closed pizza boy, find another way home"

Except Diode Dynamics Canbus 5000K HID Except in my photo they come out yellow but in person they are 100% pure white OEM looking.

Have yet to do the DRL mod for when the lights are on.. drls are on when the lights are off tho lol. I'll figure it out one of these days.

Yup, that's the way they come stock I suggest the fteightysix.com DRL mod kit with some basic soldering skills you can get it working and because you have a 5000k-5500k hid kit as well the LED will match your projectors. It looks quite awesome in person especially in combination with my side marker LEDs and switchbacks all on at night I've gotten quite a few compliments it's a tasteful lighting mod that makes a big difference.

I like the regular FRS, but I could never get over how the base headlights looked. The GT86 headlamps really complete the front of the car in my opinion. If the Monogram wasn't released I would have just bought a BRZ.

That maybe true, the headlight is little better, but the GT86 headlamps just a $200-400 upgrade instead of paying few thousand more for a special edition/series.

I personally like FR-S bumper over the BRZ,,but BRZ got much more options. So I ended up getting a 10-series instead (FR-S bumper + options.)

Orange is too close to amber and here you can not have amber, red, blue or green lights on the front of your car. Sure they may not light up that colour but I would prefer to not have to explain that to a cop in the middle of the afternoon.
Besides I want to balance the orange with trim parts not add to it.

So a big glowing boomerang is ok but a lit up ring is somehow terrible? How are any of the new accent lights on any if the recent OEM applications any less "rice"?
