I did mine today. I'm putting pics here because this is a blackout style I haven't seen. It's different.

Excuse the wheels filled with brake dust (I just tracked it). And the lack of side markers. I was scrambling to get pics before sunset after putting the bumper on.

Nice! Now we have 3 versions of the chrome "eyelid" accent: Mine, _F-R-S_'s, and yours. I think they all look awesome!

Yeah. On a dark color like mine I decided to increase the amount of chrome a bit more since it would lack contrast if I didn't.

I think you have mixed up the low and high beam temperature ... think you meant 5000k low and 3000k high

great DIY and thanks for sharing

Great DIY!

Thanks for the great write up! It's always a little nerve racking opening up the headlights, but totally worth it!

They look like the size of the Bosch Mini Fog Projectors. I have a brand new set laying around if you're interested @khanh

How did you do the dual projector setup? You should do a seperate DIY for this!

I went with the full RetrofitSource Morimoto Kit. So, after installing the new projector, I had the old one laying around. I chopped it up with a dremel. I cut off the three legs, and a bit of one side to fit it into the DRL housing space. Then I made three bracket legs using metal hanger straps. I painted the black plastic housing chrome. I used screws and nuts to bolt the new projector into place (tied floss to the end of the screws so that I could pull them through the holes I drilled in the DRL housing). Here are some pics, this was while I was mocking it up before I painted it chrome.

Hope that helps. I love trying to do something unique. But it can be effing freaky to mess with a brand new car!
