In for $15,000 budget results. Hopefully there's some serious GO along with the show.

with 15k, a twincharger system and fully programmable ECU is feasible. however, knowing what SEMA and scion are all about, the winner will be the one who spends 15k on aero parts, chrome 20" wheels and a GT wing.

This could be pretty sick, half the budget on FI, tune, and a clutch. The other half on wheels tires and cosmetics.

Oversized rims, booming sound systems, half-assed forced induction kits, shitty suspension, terrible paint job, GT wing, non aero-dynamic areo parts, and chrome, lots and lots of chrome, or matte, lots and lots of matte....
I think we found our winner! Seriously, SEMA cars suck. It's like an official 2 Fast 2 Furious convention. |

I gotta agree with that. If it were "who can build the fastest car to go around X racetrack with $15,000 and a Scion FR-S" I'd be a lot more intrigued. Oh well, hopefully we'll get some inspiration for other facets of the car than just performance.

I'll watch just for the sake of seeing what they'll do the FR-S cause I have some hope but man that was a pretty lame teaser tbh.

We would love to do this, $15k is a lot of money to upgrade an already good car.

Well I already know what I'm gonna do with the first $15k when I get my BRZ, but it wouldn't be anything to win SEMA recognition, it would just look classy and sexy, and perform better than stock.

I would use that money to locate a LFA owner and ask to rent the LFA to be in the show and say the FRS transformed into a $300k supercar.
