I see you have a 10 series Mush, aren't your LEDs more of a bright white? I hope the Monogram is the same; don't see why not.
they are about 5000k, whiter than the OEM low beam HID which are 4300k

This has been discussed. It is leather with red-stitching. Instead of the crap cloth. It comes on JDM models, so people have been able to purchase it as a part before.

Honestly, When I see things like this, It just makes me re-think any future purchases I might make under the scion brand.

I love and enjoy my car, but there have been more than a few times I wish they had features in this car that weren't there at the time of my purchase.

Yep, this is why Scion's monospec policy was a horrible idea. Monospec cars only work when they give you everything and this is usually for luxury cars more so than anything. The car has always existed in a fully loaded form as the Toyota GT86 or in Japan the 86 GT Limited. I was actually shocked that the FRS came only in base form, I was truly hoping they'd have dump the monospec ways when this car came in.

To be honest I'm not entirely pleased with the Monogram that Scion Canada gave either, by making this a special edition they seemed to have decided for the consumer that red, white and black are the only colours we'll pick. I feel so foolish waiting this long...for colours that are readily available for the BRZ. I wanted the Ultramarine colour, and instead ended up with Red. Its not like I'm asking for a unique colour...this is a colour they're painting on similarly equipped cars in the Gunma factory everyday. Basically I was in a scenario where I either could have the colour I wanted...but none of the options, or the options I wanted but not the colour. So yeah...my willingness to buy a Scion branded car has gone from possibly to never again. I wouldn't mind being charged extra to get access to those colours but even that wasn't an option. Not what I was hoping in a new car purchase.

Thanks for the info. To me, 4300k sounds low...is that the norm for stock HIDs? My dad has a nissan maxima that came with HIDs stock and they look purple/bluish like most other stock HIDs. Would this be more like 6000k?

Are the 86 HIDs more yellow/white or do they shine purple and blue too? I apologize I'm not well versed in what strength generates what colour.

Stock hid is 4300k, the blue/purple u see is the cutoff line.
higher the kelvin the more blue/purple it gets (6000k and up) also less light
As the bulb age it turns white/blue
My oem hid are yellow/white, the ones overseas should be the same
If u want to learn about hid, hidplanet.com is a really good forum

How are people placing their orders for these already? I called several local dealers and the best they could do was put me on a waiting list.

Did they say whether the waitlist was because someone already put money down for their allocation? And thus you are on the waitlist if that person decides to not get it. If what torqdork said is true, there is only 400 MT's being made, with a small portion of that going to Canada. May be hard to get a MT. Not sure what you are looking for transmission, and color wise.
