I just got my 18" AV-20's put on today, stock suspension. I plan on getting springs (RCE Yellows) put on this weekend but I thought I'd post a picture up here before the springs are put on, in case it helps someone on here to see what it looks like to put wheels with these dimensions on an 86 with stock ride height.

Here are the specs for the wheels...
Front: 18x8.5, 5x100 pcd, 73.1mm cb, 33 et/offset
Rear: 18x9.5, 5x100 pcd, 73.1mm cb, 38 et/offset

225 50 17 - comfortable ride compared to stock tires. Very very happy with the look. And the gap is almost gone!!

Even though the tire setup is temporary, I'm digging it for stock height.

Here I am with Enkei rsf5's.18x8 +40 all around. Wrapped in Sumitomo HTRZIII 225/40/18.

The Sumitomos have a tiny bit of stretch to it on the 18x8 configuration. I'd like a bit more wheel protection and hight for the next set. Any recommendations for tire size?

I would say a 235 width tire because it's the minimum measured width for a 8" wheel. Or if you want to keep the same width, go up in profile.
