How to remove reAR mirror on 2016 frs

I just happened to own 16 frs...looking forward to change rear mirror with auto dim and home link mirror, but I can't find any instructions online how to remove the OEM mirror.
If anyone knows tricks, please step in....I need heelp.
Thanks in advance.

Twist the base 1/2 turn left or right.

There's NO base like earlier year models...here's pics of mine.

First pic a bottom of that mount looked up...look like the access to loosen up a mirror...or I could be wrong .

I swapped my stock with a frameless, it looks way better and a wider and taller field of view. Was a great upgrade . :party0030:
