The point of this bar isn't meant for pedestrians or whatnot.
The point of this bar is to 1) protect FMIC and other exposed components between bumper and frame in a modified car, and 2) offer a way to support bumper.
It is not meant as an on-road replacement of the front crash beam/bumper support.
Anyone that has put a FMIC onto a car and cut the front bumper support, would know the benefits of this.
