Its a slippery slope either way for him. If @
Frs300 states a goal that is deemed too high then folks will say he is taking advantage of the good nature of the community and being greedy. If he receives a fair amount of money, even though the goal may be low, then he will be viewed as taking advantage of the community and being greedy. Why make him a victim again...
This isn't about the amount, it is about the gesture...
If you have a personal issue or concern about giving, that is fine. Really!!

He didn't ask me to do any of this and I see no need to put him under additional scrutinization or ask him to jump through hoops as a result.
