Ok, so I wrote this story while suffering from the worst flu of my life. Plus I'm dyslexic (true story!). The third sector time for the BRZ is 29.491, not 29.791. So the total lap time is in fact 1:27.791 as reported, I just typo'd on the third sector time. My apologies.
