A rear end swap would definitely be helpful for a lower ratio, but it's not really affordable and i'm trying to avoid it if possible.

I already have a small hot side on the turbo, the bigger issue is I am limited to torque management due to the small hotside. It has a lot of torque, really early in the rpm band and with a small hotside it's hard to circumvent this. I don't want ugly over fenders, nor do I want a widebody. It's not my taste, I love the stock body on the 86's.

I will give a few of these recommendations a try. One final question, for street driving, would a 2 way coilover really make such a huge difference? Rather than getting a nicer 1 way set of coilovers. Since street conditions often change, and the car really wont see a prepped strip much, if ever. Any recommendations for spring rates and coilover brands/specs?

Thanks everyone!

@CSG Mike, i'm a total newb to rwd that makes this much power. Everybody is new at some point, i'm here trying to learn. If I had a better understanding, I wouldn't be here posting and asking for advice.
What do you make at wastegate pressure?

Yes, good coilovers make a HUGE difference, but is not the answer for what you want here. The answer is tires, period.
